With limited new construction and redevelopment of existing homes, the supply of affordable housing is likely to reach historic lows.
MHCs can help fill this gap by offering affordable housing as well as the opportunity of home ownership.
With a currently fragmented niche market, favorable financing available and recession protection, an investment in MHCs has the potential to provide favorable cash on cash (income) returns, as well as strong IRRs over the course of the term.
The Fund will acquire, add value and reposition MHCs that are currently generating income yet are either under-valued, under-managed, underperforming and/or in need of a capital infusion.
An investment in the strategy has the potential to provide investors with an excellent return while providing the residents with a safe and affordable place to live (double bottom - line).
